Position Summary:The Lovett School, an independent K-12 day school in Atlanta, GA, seeks an Upper School Physics teacher to begin in August 2015.  Interested applicants should be able to teach various levels of physics, grades 11 through 12. Experience teaching AP physics and/or chemistry will be preferred, as will experience with physics modeling; problem-based, student-centered learning; and guided inquiry.

Pyrazine Specialties, Inc. is an Atlanta based Flavor and Fragrance Chemical Company seeking a motivated individual interested in temporary employment.  The tasks associated with the position primarily consist of entering technical data into an authoring software to convert chemical safety information from a MSDS format to the recently mandated Globally Harmonized SDS format.

A preferred candidate will have a strong Chemistry nomenclature background with a minimum of 4 semester hours of Inorganic Chemistry and 4 semester hours of Organic Chemistry.

A preferred candidate will also demonstrate above average attention to detail.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

CDC Job Opening

CDC Tobacco Product Lab is seeking a qualified BS level chemist. 
Skill requirements:
The successful applicant must be familiar with modern analytical chemistry techniques ranging from automated solid phase extraction (SPE) sample preparation, gas chromatograph mass spectrometry (GC-MS), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).  A strong background in good laboratory practices, oral and written communications, and method development are essential.
Duties to be performed:
The applicant will work under the instruction of a research chemist in developing analytical methods for the analysis of harmful constituents in tobacco products and mainstream tobacco smoke. This includes sample preparation, bringing up or extending existing analytical methods, conducting qualitative and quantitative measurements, and analyzing data.

REU internship - Delaware summer 2015

Dear Colleagues,

   We am writing you today soliciting help identifying candidates for our
Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program in Chemistry and
Biochemistry (broadly defined).  Our REU program is unique in that we are
focusing on providing students with disabilities a research and community
building experience tailored to fostering success in graduate school and
beyond. The REU program is scheduled from June 21, 2015 to August 15, 2015
