We, at The Tower Undergraduate Research Journal, would like to invite you to write a research article for our Volume IV journal (Spring 2012) by Tuesday, Nov 1st.
We are currently accepting submissions in all the following formats:
Research article -- full-length research article representing the culmination of your undergraduate research
Synopsis article -- review of your work in an already published article
Perspective -- review of field and your experiences in research
Dispatch -- a short length article communicating exciting discoveries and highlighting your work in the lab

Toxicology Evening Supervisor/Certifying Scientist
Primary responsibilities include participation in a team of professionals in Atlanta, GA that provide clinical analysis and evaluation of biological specimens (urine, oral fluid) for drugs that are part of a prescription regimen and/or for drugs of abuse.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and/or knowledge concerning drug testing:
· Excellent quantitative pipetting technique
· Drug screening by immunoassay
· Initial testing/immunoassay instrument operation and trouble shooting
· LC/MS/MS maintenance, operation, interpretation and trouble shooting
· Pharmacology and drug metabolism
· Standard curve preparation, creation, and evaluation
· Control preparation and interpretation
· Research and development of new methods as needed
· Supervisory Experience
· Team involvement mentality
Minimum educational requirement is a 4 year degree in one of the natural sciences, chemistry and/or toxicology preferred and 3 years practical experience. Offering a competitive salary of $55 – 65 K depending on education, training and experience.
