Internship - US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory

US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory, wants to establish an intern program between GT and themselves. They want chemistry students, juniors or seniors with GPAs of 3.0 of better to conduct joint research. The work will involve forensics and the research would be carried out both at GTRI and at their facility in Forest Park, Fort Gillem.

eLab Consulting Services - Lab Supervisor Position

2 positions

Toxicology Evening Supervisor/Certifying Scientist
Primary responsibilities include participation in a team of professionals in Atlanta, GA that provide clinical analysis and evaluation of biological specimens (urine, oral fluid) for drugs that are part of a prescription regimen and/or for drugs of abuse.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and/or knowledge concerning drug testing:

· Excellent quantitative pipetting technique

· Drug screening by immunoassay

· Initial testing/immunoassay instrument operation and trouble shooting

· LC/MS/MS maintenance, operation, interpretation and trouble shooting

· Pharmacology and drug metabolism

· Standard curve preparation, creation, and evaluation

· Control preparation and interpretation

· Research and development of new methods as needed

· Supervisory Experience

· Team involvement mentality


Minimum educational requirement is a 4 year degree in one of the natural sciences, chemistry and/or toxicology preferred and 3 years practical experience. Offering a competitive salary of $55 – 65 K depending on education, training and experience.
