Thank you again for agreeing to be a potential summer
research host for international students coming from Germany, Singapore, Italy,
and the UK. We are presently collecting applications from interested students.
We will be in touch once the deadline passes on January 31, 2014 with any
students that selected your site among their top three.
As I mentioned, we are also facilitating the reverse exchange
where undergraduate students enrolled at U.S. universities can apply for a 10
week summer research project in those same four countries. With funding from the
NSF and working with our international partners, we will be facilitating 17 REU
placements in 2014. Please feel free to share the attached flyer and information
with any undergraduate U.S. students that you may know who would be interested
in participating.
