Forest Biomaterials is seeking high achieving Ph.D. students.  Their program is typically 3~4 years, depending on the experience and work performance.  The position is supported by the USDA National Need Fellowship, which includes full tuition (in state or out-of-state), health insurance, and scholarship as a stipend. The fellowship package is ~$50,000 per year.  Currently four fellow positions are open for Fall 2019.

The ideal candidate fellow will have a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering background with research interests in the areas of biofuels, energy, conversion economics, and/or sustainability.
