GTSF awards grants to students and student organizations

My name is Emily Sulc, and I am the Marketing Director for the Georgia Tech Student Foundation. We have some exciting opportunities coming up this month, and I would be very grateful if you could pass these events onto your students.

Allocations: Twice a year GTSF allocates over $15,000 to Georgia Tech student groups and initiatives that benefit the Yellow Jacket community. GTSF awards grants to students and student organizations for activities or projects that enhance the educational experience and bring new opportunities to campus.  GTSF has distributed over $600,000 to more than 500 different organizations since 1986. This semester the application will open on 1/17 and close on 2/7. To view the application and get more information please visit http://gtsf.gatech.edu

Investment Committee Mentor-Ship Program: The Investments committee manages the endowment fund for the Georgia Tech Student Foundation. This process includes a mentorship program at the beginning of each semester designed to teach newer members about the basics of investing, accounting, and finance. The mentorship program meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm in the College of Business room 200. The program begins 1/21 and runs for 4 weeks.
