The members of Alpha Chi Sigma would like to extend to you an invitation to attend our Spring 2017 rush events. AXS is a professional co-ed chemistry fraternity comprised of those in chemistry related majors including chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental engineering, CHBE, BME, MSE and Pre-Med students.
Alpha Chi Sigma provides opportunities for community outreach, establishing professional contacts with our extensive alumni network and getting one-on-one time with recruiters that come and meet with us exclusively. Joining is a great way to supplement your education and resume while making friends with those in your major or related majors. Rush is an informal way of meeting those involved in AXS, and learn more about the fraternity to see if you are interested in joining.
This year, rush will be on Monday through Thursday, January 23-26 at MoSE 2nd floor Atrium. On Tuesday and Thursday we will gather four times for our EMPHASIS ON BROTHERHOOD events, twice at 11am and at 5 PM. On Monday and Wednesday the EMPHASIS ON PROFESSIONALISM event will be at 6pm, where we would have alumni speak to potential pledges about the professional advantages they made from being in AXS. That’s a total of six events, 4 brotherhood and 2 professional. We ask that you attend two rush events (at LEAST ONE BROTHERHOOD, if possible). ALL EVENTS are CASUAL and you can dress accordingly. There will be free food at all the BROTHERHOOD events! For more information about AXS, take a look at our website: axs.gtorg.gatech.edu. If you have any questions or are concerned about not being able to attend our rush events, please feel free to contact our rush chairs: Amanda Etter (aetter3@gatech.edu) or Maher Saadeh (msaadeh3@gatech.edu).
