Possible short-term project for a student with ICP-MS experience - Spring 2015

You may know someone with ICP-MS experience – graduate student or lab tech –- who would benefit from taking a break or moonlighting and getting paid to do a short project.

Our small analytical lab (in Norcross) would like to hire someone short-term to do a performance qualification and analyze a set of samples on our ICP-MS equipment. Probably 4-6 wk project; working part-time day or night is possible.

Please send me names and contact information or pass this email on to whoever you think is suitable.

Thanks

The K-12 schools that we assist with hiring are exciting, vibrant communities that provide recent college graduates an excellent opportunity to work in a setting that is collaborative, unique and involved. Every year CS&A helps place candidates in thousands of teaching and administrative positions in all primary and secondary school subjects across the country. Teacher certification is not required; we are looking for students with an undergraduate or graduate degree in the subject they would like to teach (such as science, which is an area that’s in very high demand for independent school faculty!) or strong school administration experience. CS&A’s services are completely free and personalized for all job-seeking candidates.
In order to be considered as a candidate for these great jobs, please complete an online application today. Once the application is completed, an experienced placement associate will be in touch.
Thanks for sharing my information with your students and any interested alumni! Should you have any questions, please let me know and I’d be happy to help.

Full-Time positions are available for a clinical research coordinator in  a local medical research clinic conducting Central Nervous System disorder clinical trials in Alzheimer’s Disease, Anxiety Disorders (GAD, PTSD, etc.), Depression, Fibromyalgia, and ADHD (adults, teens), and other conditions.  Diversified responsibilities include subject recruitment, data collection and processing; data base development as well as assistance in preparation of research data for seminars.  Candidate must be mature, proactive, and responsible as well as detail oriented with good observational skills.  Candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills as well as computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).  Preferred candidate is one with pre/allied health, science, or psychology major with current BA/BS degree or soon to be awarded.  Research experience is a plus but all candidates will be considered.  Fax resume to 770-817-9201 or email to CRC3@iamresearch.org.

It is a great learning opportunity and one which I wish I had available to me many years ago.  Working with us in clinical research is better than standing in the corner of an emergency room watching things go by in hopes of getting a letter for medical school.  We implement a proactive learning/work environment as well as helping many to learn about the external research business world.
