Arts & Sciences Majors Fair (new event!)


Thursday, Oct. 12 from 11:00-1:00
Clough 3rd and 4th floors

All majors and programs in the College of Sciences, College of Design, and the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts will be represented.  Students will be able to gather information and speak with academic advisors, current students in the majors, and faculty.  This event has been scheduled in time to allow students to make connections with advising in these majors prior to Spring registration.

The new University Interdisciplinary Research Award is designed to promote research collaboration between students and faculty from different departments. NASA Internships, Fellowships, and Scholarships






Don’t let your students just wish on a star, encourage them to work with one!
The NASA Internships, Fellowships & Scholarships (NIFS) Recruitment team is excited to announce the NIFS Virtual Career Summit on September 27th focused on exposing students to the many STEM opportunities and missions within NASA. This summit will stream live at 1 PM EST and will available on the site following the livestream for future viewings and references.
During the event students will have a chance to learn about diverse opportunities at NASA Centers across the United States, students will find information on eligibility requirements, how to apply for internships, scholarships and fellowships, and additional helpful tips. Additionally, students will have a chance to hear firsthand from interns and mentors about their own NASA experiences.
The Virtual Career Summit will feature:
  • A virtual resource center stocked with helpful information on working at NASA, how to improve the chances of landing an internship, fellowship, or scholarship as well as useful tools and tips for students to market themselves. 
  •  A virtual auditorium where the livestream will take place, featuring unique presentations focusing on STEM opportunities 
  • A live chat option at the end and throughout the course of the livestream between students and experts from NASA centers.  
Additionally, there will be Q&A sessions throughout the livestream where NASA professionals will be answering viewers’ questions. Encourage students to also submit any questions they have to the Twitter and Facebook handle @NASAInterns during the event using the hashtag: #NIFSlive
