EnviroScent Job Opening
Our Company
EnviroScent is a fast-growing consumer products company based in Atlanta with a 10-year history and a very bright future. Committed to building new categories and staying far away from “me too” products, the team at EnviroScent is experienced in pioneering industry-changing businesses and is laser-focused on shaking up home fragrance.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial-minded innovator with a strong foundation in technical research and chemistry to work within our Marketing group. Prior experience with paper substrates and fragrance development will make you ideal for this exciting position. We move at a quick pace, so if you’re someone who enjoys the challenge of balancing research rigor with short development cycles, you’ll find EnviroScent a pretty fun place to work.
You
The candidate should have strong experimental skills and be able to work independently. Familiarity with handling and measuring gases is a plus, as the initial phase of the work requires assembling, testing, and refining equipment designed to evaluate odorous substances. Academically, s/he would have completed a quantitative analytical chemistry course, have a solid chemistry background, and good mathematical-analytical skills, e.g., excel, error analysis, curve fitting. Good writing skills are required to produce a record of intellectual property generated from the work. Candidate will be reporting directly to a 20+ year PhD from one of the largest CPG companies in the world.
Please e-mail your resume (cover letter optional) to esherwood@enviroscent.com
