Georgia Tech Annual Pre-Health Conference - Spring 2014

Hello all,

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) at Georgia Tech cordially invites you to its 8th Annual Pre-Health Conference on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm in the Global Learning Center on Tech Square. The conference has an anticipated 250 attendees, including health school representatives and pre-health students.





The conference is a great opportunity to learn more about a career in healthcare as well as to gain invaluable insight into admissions processes. This year the conference is themed "Healthcare and Technology" and will feature a keynote address discussing exciting medical technologies and their impact on future health professionals. There will also be several informative workshops on the many facets of becoming a healthcare professional such as the “Admissions Panel”, “Life as a Health Student”, “Women in Healthcare”, “How to Get Involved in Your Community” and more. These panels, which feature a Q&A component, serve as unique platforms to get all your pre-health related questions answered.

The conference will conclude with a health school fair with over 50 schools from across the nation, allowing attendees to network with representatives and learn more about the many health programs available. In addition, students may choose to attend a hands-on workshops and/or participate in a mock interview with an admissions representative. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
