About Solvay Specialty Polymers:
Solvay’s
polymer portfolio can be thought of as the most advanced collection of
high performance materials in the world (see attached Polymer Pyramid).
Our customers demand performance over cost which gives scientists like
me the opportunity to truly innovate in the field of polymer science.
This is not too common these days as many chemical organizations largely
possess commoditized offerings where their R&D efforts are
primarily focused on “reducing cost”. At Solvay, our talented
scientists and engineers are highly engaged in intellectually
stimulating growth initiatives that apply and develop new paradigms in
the areas of organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, rheology, polymer
physics, processing technology, analytical chemistry, and chemical
engineering. To learn more, visit http://www.solvay.com/en/markets-and-products/chemical-categories/specialty-polymers/
