Fall 2017 PURA applications and Undergraduate Research Ambassadors

As a student currently enrolled in undergraduate research this semester, the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program would like to share with you the upcoming deadline for the Fall 2017 President's Undergraduate Research Awards (PURA). PURA offers $1,500 (max.) salary awards to undergraduate students conducting research who are being mentored by a faculty member or GTRI scientist.

Undergraduate Research Ambassador
 The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program office is offering a unique leadership opportunity for undergraduate research students.  As an Undergraduate Research Ambassador, students can help to develop their own research programming to engage students.  Go here for more information.  We are taking applications for interested ambassadors here.  The deadline to apply is Friday, May 12, 2017.  As an incentive, as a research ambassador, students will receive priority when awarding PURA travel grants.
