The National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) is hosting our national conference at the Radisson Blu and Marriott in Downtown Minneapolis, MN from Oct 30th to Nov 3rd.The theme for our 44th Annual conference is “We are NOBCChE: Community, Leadership, & Partnerships”. This conference is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate, graduate students, and post docs (and faculty)! NOBCChE takes pride in building a community of scholars who are leaders in every endeavor.We encourage you to invite your students to submit an abstract and apply for a conference grant. Through the generous support of our corporate sponsors we are able to provide twice as many scholarships this year. The conference is a great chance for your students to present their work and begin preparing for the next chapter in their lives.Join us in Minneapolis to be apart of the experience!Conference Events Include:
- Student and professional development workshops
- Elevator Speech and Open Mic Student Competition
- Student/Professional Poster Session and technical talks – submit an abstract to present your research!
- Career Fair - Network with professionals from Industry and Graduate Schools. Numerous Fortune 500 companies will be in attendance.
All students are encouraged to attend! Undergraduate, Graduate Students and Post Docs can receive free registration and hotel through the Advancing Science Travel Grant (ASTG)Abstracts for technical presentations are due August 31st. Applications for Travel Grants are made through the same portal and have the same deadline.
