Human Facial Expressions Lab Seeking Volunteers

The Dr. Gregory Gibson lab in the School of Biology is recruiting participants to take part in their Human Facial Expressions lab. Volunteers will participate in a research study of the genetics of facial expression.

Ever since Charles Darwin wrote "The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals" in 1872, biologists have wondered about whether and how children learn to show happiness and fear, anger and surprise. Professor Gibson's group has initiated the study to quantify facial variation using an
advanced 3D imaging camera that generates lifelike rotating pictures of your face. Participants will receive a permanent 3D profile to keep in exchange for 30 minutes of their time.

Participants must be between ages 18 and 25. Interested parties may contact Ms. Dalia Arafat by email at abc3dmd@gmail.com
