Responsibilities:
As a Process Chemist you will join a team of experienced chemists who are responsible for carrying out contract synthesis, process development and production, from grams to tons. Our work is fully integrated from the lab to the plant, maximizing our efficiency. To ensure that projects run smoothly you must be a team player that plans his or her daily activities, documents projects accurately, and communicates effectively with clients. The successful candidate will also carry out routine analysis such as HPLC, GC-MS, KF and NMR.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
Basic understanding of organic chemistry
Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
Industrial experience
Experience in the synthesis and analysis of organic molecules using multistep reaction sequence
Experience in the design of synthetic routes to target molecules or in the use of chemical database applications such as SciFinder
Strong mechanistic understanding of organic chemistry
Analytical experience with HPLC, GC-MS, KF and NMR
