I am the President of Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) here at Georgia Tech. Our organization focuses on providing medical care for the millions of underprivileged and underserved children around the world. We strive towards this goal by fundraising and collecting supplies from around our community as well as sending student volunteers to FIMRC’s clinic sites. In the past few years our chapter has sent students to Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. We encourage our members to be active in the Atlanta community as well as to broaden their experience by attending a volunteer trip.
