Pre-Physician Assistant Club

Don’t let the word “assistant” fool you: Did you know that Physician Assistants (PAs) have the power to assess patients, make diagnoses, perform procedures (including surgeries), and prescribe medicine in all 50 states? Did you know that you can do these things while making a six figure salary after only 2 years of graduate school?

If this is intriguing to you, please join us for an introduction! The Pre-Physician Assistant Club at Georgia Tech is excited to announce our kickoff meeting for the semester on Tuesday, September 2 at 6:30 PM in ES&T L1118.

Come enjoy free snacks while we discuss:
  • What is a PA, and how does it differ from a doctor, nurse, NP, etc.?
  • How do I become a PA?
  • What does the Pre-PA Club do? (sneak peek: opportunities for clinical experience, community service, application advice, and more!)
