Alcon
(a division of Novartis) is a leading manufacturer of soft contact lenses with a
strong history of R&D. This position will support research and development
activities in the product engineering R&D group. We are looking for students
who are interested in R&D, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Interest in
working in the medical device industry is a must.
The
student will be given several short term projects to complete each semester, and
some longer projects may be assigned as well. Projects can include product
development, basic science, and mathematical modeling.
