Kaplan LSAT Experience

The October LSAT administration is the most popular LSAT administration of the year. Students constantly worry about the unknowns of test day – the rules and regulations, the procedures, accommodations in the testing room, and of course, the content of the test questions. Well, we (Kaplan) are thrilled to announce a new opportunity for students to get a full simulation of test day with a mini-course, so they know exactly what to expect and what to practice in the days leading up to the real thing. We call it, “The LSAT Experience”.

Held at the Atlanta Kaplan Center (3867 Roswell Rd Atlanta, GA), on October 1st at 7:30am, the actual time of the LSAT, the LSAT Experience is a mini-course that includes:

The June 2010 Exam – students will face the most recently released exam in fully-simulated test day conditions. Students will face the challenges of test day (e.g. commuting, parking, table registration, personal article confiscation, small desks, etc.). Plus, students will receive the IDENTICAL proctoring environment of the LSAC as the LSAC has graciously provided their official proctoring guide for our use.

-A Test Review – a three hour asynchronous review will be available three days after the exam that provides the students with several unique items:

-Students get the perspective of learning how their answers compare to the rest of the testing cohort around the country. Where else can students get a feeling for where they stand when taking the test with a large group, except at the real LSAT?

-Students get to review various questions from the exam. Taught by our top-rated faculty, questions are selected based on overall student performance to make sure that we address the questions that students struggled with the most and that are most representative of what they will face on test day.

-Study Tools – various assets of the Kaplan LSAT program will be showcased for students. Students will receive:

-A detailed score analysis using our exclusive adaptive learning technology, Smart Reports, breaking down student performance by section and question type, giving them guidance on what to study in the crucial days before the test

-Complete answers and explanations for every question, game, passage and answer choice

The LSAT Experience is free to students enrolled in any of Kaplan's LSAT prep courses, but is also available for $99 for anyone else who’d like to attend. The registration deadline is Friday, September 17th.
